Gardens by the Bay is actually a 250 acre national park that resides on reclaimed land in Singapore. From afar, there are two things that firstly catching our sight. First, the two domes with its seasheel form. The second thing that stands out are the now world famous Supertrees. There are 18 Supertrees constructions in Gardens by the Bay. The tallest Supertree measures 16 stories heigh, or 160 ft. There is a rooftop bar & lounge at the top of this tallest Supertree.

Obviously, the supertree is not just for a decoration purposes, they serve quite a few functions for Gardens by the Bay, beyond just providing shade during the day and magically come alive with an exhilarating display of light and show at night. Eleven Supertrees have canopies embedded with environmentally sustainable functions to include photovoltaic cells to catch solar energy for lighting up the Supertrees, while some are integrated with two carbon neutral conservatories and serve as their air exhaust receptacles.

When you first see the Supertrees, Superb might be a word that could be describing it. These unique tall Supertrees can be found all around the Gardens which twelve at the Supertree Grove, while the remaining six are placed in clusters of threes at the Golden and Silver Gardens.At the Supertree Grove, you will find the OCBC Skyway, the walkway that allows visitors to walk amongst the Supertrees. This 128 meter long aerial walkway 22 meters off the ground offering stunning scenic views of both the city of Singapore and the futuristic scene of Gardens by the Bay.

To get those interesting sight of Gardens by the Bay and Singapore city and as well as to get up close to the great Supertrees, you can go to the top of one of the Supertree to walk on the OCBC Skyway. You can either climb stairs to the 65foot high walk or take an elevator. The views from the 420foot long skywalk were so wonderful! Best places to watch Supertrees/Marina Bay Sands Light Show

It's really pretty good to see as the trees shine bright across the city for miles and also some of the lasers are projected from the top the trees. The view of Supertree Grove with the Marina Bay Sands in background at night is so fantastic.Definitely if you want to get nice view of Supertree light laser show, everywhere opposite the bay is good. You can also get a good view for the light show from Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Close to the Dragonfly Bridge of Gardens by the Bay, there is a set of escalators that can take you up to Marina Bay Sands. When you reach the top, you can enjoy panoramic views of Supertree Grove and its light show.
Although you can see the lights relatively clearly from here, the soundtrack from the Spectra show unfortunately can't be heard clearly from this position. It is worth a trip up here for the gardens views but don’t choose this place as your main viewing spot for the spectra Marina Bay Sands light and water show.

For the very best view of the whole Spectra Multimedia Shows at Marina Bay Singapore, Marina Sands Event Plaza is the right place. You can get the best view of the laser light show that coming from the hotel and the Supertrees, seeing story part of this Singapore light shows, with video projected onto the water screen, and fireballs and also the mist and bubbles. Discover the magical attraction of Spectra, a public outdoor light and water show displayed over the water at the Event Plaza along the promenade!
The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest Conservatory
Along with the Supertrees, the other major highlight of Gardens by the Bay are two of the largest climate controlled conservatories in the world. A 1.8 acre cool moist conservatory called the Cloud Forest. The two domes were built to look like the tops of seashells. The design was to support the low-e glass panels that take in approximately 65% of the incident daylight, but only 35% of the solar heat. This is one of the key elements in helping the two conservatories achieve carbon neutral status. There is also a kind of technology to make the dooms have cooler temperature to support the plants which are mostly from the subtropical and high mountain climate, to make them grow well like their habitat. The carefully controlled temperature lets you truly enjoy the cold mountain experience and subtropical or cold dry desert climate of Flower Dome.
The great technology applied and the buildings architecture themselves is very impressive. No wonder, Singapore is one of most innovative and developed country in the world.
