ETW #72 Plan a Sweet Getaway to Hershey, Pennsylvania

By: Matt Long

This week we’re highlighting one of my favorite long weekend destinations, Hershey – the Sweetest Place on Earth! In this episode we chat about everything there is to see and do in Hershey, Pennsylvania from Hersheypark to great day trips ideas and more.

You can listen to the podcast here on this page or on any of these services: iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher.

As I’ve mentioned before, road trips will figure highly in my own 2020 travel plans and most recently that included a long weekend in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Famous for the eponymous chocolate company, there’s a lot to see, do and eat throughout the town and even region.

This Week’s Guests

Quinn Bryner

With more than 15 years of experience in public relations and social media, Quinn Bryner serves as Director of Public Relations, Integration and Strategy for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. She leads local, regional and national media relations efforts for Hersheypark and ZooAmerica, as well as the destination’s events, concerts and shows, and she builds comprehensive social media strategies to help tell Hershey’s special story across 45 social media channels. A native of central PA, Quinn grew up going to Hersheypark. She is a graduate of Ursinus College with a degree in communications/journalism and a minor in politics/international relations. She lives in Linglestown with her husband and two young children, Owen and Fiona, who think her office is a roller coaster.

Reilly Fies

Reilly Fies is a Communications Manager at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R). In her role she focuses on media relations, social media and Story Hub writing for the destination’s three Official Resorts of Hersheypark, two spas, more than a dozen dining outlets and meeting/convention business. She has been a member of the HE&R team since July 2010 and though the travel communications industry has changed over the past decade, one thing has stayed the same: Hershey, PA is truly The Sweetest Place On Earth!
