A huge beach ideal for surfing. And in its neighboring street, you can have a drink or eat in its many restaurants. The beach itself is wonderful and on the weekends, the nightlife is fascinating, the bars always have promotions and nice music to dance to.

Carrizalillo is one of the best beaches in Puerto Escondido and surfing is one of the best things to do here. To get there, however, you have to go down a staircase of more than 150 steps, but the beach is worth it, it is also very close to the main bay which is only around 15 minutes of walking.

The lagoon of Chacahua is another gem hidden in Mexico. A natural paradise after a 40-minute journey by speedboat through mangroves, crocodiles, isolated villages, and full forest. Here, you can enjoy oysters from the freshly caught fish.

If you want to go here, it’s recommended to bring a companion since it can get lonely. But if you want some peace of mind and alone time at the beach, this is the ideal place.
