1. Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi

Going here would make you feel the old days that are gone by. The Old Town Tbilisi is very atmospheric. The old narrow cobblestone streets and balconies are very cozy. There is so much history here that you can find a citadel, a temple, the remains of a fortress, a bathhouse, etc. There are also many restaurants that you can eat at, drink coffee, or a glass of wine.

2. Aerial Tramway in Tbilisi

Travel by air tramway from one side of the river to the top of the hill overlooking Tbilisi. This is the best way to see the city in an areal mode. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the top. You will find a botanical garden, a fortress, shops, and a cafeteria on the top. Ready your camera for some wonderful panoramic shots!

3. Tsminda Sameba Cathedral

Tsminda Sameba Cathedral is the third tallest Eastern Orthodox Cathedral in the world. The building itself is a combination of Georgian, as well as Byzantine architecture. Inside, you will find stunning art that is absolutely impressive.

4. Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater

This theatre is located right in the middle of the city and the theater itself is worth visiting. The structure and design are really different since the architectural side of the theatre are rather unusual as it is not a straight standing little building.

5. Jinvali Water Reservoir

A reservoir with clean fresh water. Not only that the views are amazing but you can also find Georgian handmade craft there, this is the place you should visit if you will decide to travel in Georgia.

6. Narikala Fortress

An ancient fortress dating back to the 4th Century. The Mother of Armenia statue is situated just near to the Fortress. And from this vantage point, you can see a very wide view of Tbilisi and the Mtkvan River.

7. Georgian National Museum

To get a deeper understanding of Georgia, this is the place you should visit. The rich history of the country is there to read and learn about. A wonderful museum that’s consists of the earliest hominids, through the Stone Age and right up to the present day. Everything inside the museum is well laid out, absolutely worth the entrance fee.

8. The Bridge of Peace

The Bridge of Peace provides a unique contrast to most of the city of Tbilisi in terms of its architectural design. It runs over the river and set amongst the historically rich, gorgeous buildings of Tbilisi. At night, it is gorgeously lit that offers a great photo opportunity. 9. Rustaveli Avenue

This is one of the main streets of the city that has restaurants, shops, open spaces with entertainers along the way. Here, you can feel a dynamic and vibrant city life. There are also plenty of museums and historical places you can explore.

10. National Botanical Garden of Georgia

Nature lovers won’t regret visiting this beautiful garden.
