ETW #75 Disney World Reopens: What It’s Really Like to Visit Now

By: Matt Long

Walt Disney World recently reopened after months of closure and this week we talk about what it’s really like to visit a theme park today. Whether you’re just curious or are planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, in this episode we talk about all of the changes to Disney World from new health measures to favorite attraction updates and much more.

You can listen to the podcast here on this page or on any of these services: iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher.

Two years ago I had never been to a Disney property and only had a scant few theme park experiences in general. It wasn’t from a lack of desire; I’ve always enjoyed theme parks and Disney as a company has always fascinated me. For whatever reason though, I just had never been until I found myself in Anaheim with some free time and I knew I couldn’t miss the opportunity. Fast forward to 2020 and I’ve visited both Disneyland and Walt Disney World many times and have even found myself in Disneyland Paris. As a diehard Disney fan I couldn’t resist the opportunity to head back down to Orlando just a few weeks after Walt Disney World reopened following the COVID-19 shut-down. Since so much has changed not only in the theme parks but around the region, I want to share what it’s really like to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth today with all of the new health and safety measures in place. To help us navigate this new world I invited one of the leading experts on the topic to join the show this week.
