Tips on How to Get a Five Year Multiple Entry Japan Visa

  • The embassy does not state how much money you should have to obtain a five-year multiple-entry Japan visa. However, you need to show that you are financially capable of traveling to Japan in the next five years. Most agencies would advise a PHP 10,000 per person per day budget, so if you travel for ten days, you’ll need at least PHP 100,000. In case you want to travel once every year, it should be more than that, and you should be earning money or income, too.
  • I submitted a Bank Statement under my name for proof that I’m financially capable of traveling for the next 5 years. I showed both my Peso savings in the Philippines and my Montenegrin Bank Account. Might as well, show them your savings – be it personal, checking, or time deposit.
  • A Certificate of Employment is not required; however, it can be of great use. This will show how many years you’ve been in the company, your position, and your annual salary. From there, they can check if you can afford to travel in the next five years.
  • If you have a business, it’s better to register it with DTI or SEC and pay income taxes regularly. You can also attach this to your application even though it’s not required.
  • You can also submit Titles of your Properties. I showed my Original Real Estate Purchase Contract with the value of our property, and the title is under my name (and my husband’s).
  • I also submitted a flight ticket reservation and hotel reservation for my initial stay. You can do this too.
  • If you have been too G7 countries, you can also submit your stamps and old passports even if it’s not required under your category
  • Try submitting a cover letter explaining why you want the five-year visa. Also, mention the requirements attached and arrange them neatly during your submission.
  • P.S. If the Embassy doesn’t think you can go for a five-year multiple-entry Japan visa, you may get one to four or a single entry visa
  • Pray!
