If travelling is your dream as well as mine, the solution is portable working. Whatever your destination, there are working opportunities awaiting. This not only allows you to make money as you go, but you will also start experiencing travelling in a unique, fun way. 

So, if you were seeing travelling as an expense, stop it! Travelling does not mean that you must spend all your savings. If you learn how to do this right, you can take your job everywhere with you.

Use the following creative tricks to get some money and cover the expenses. Here are eight tips you should use if you are running out of money during your trip.

1. Seasonal Work

If you are ready to work and can handle working a shift, you can never be left without money. Find a seasonal job in the location you want to travel to. Starting from babysitting to picking fruits and flowers, you can do everything that allows you to bounce from one place to another. 

If you want to be on the move more often, try working on a cruise ship or as a flight attendant. This will allow you to earn a living while travelling the world. 

2. Freelance

As technology advances, the number of digital jobs is rising at a fast pace. Nowadays, there are many location-independent workers or freelancers who do their job from any place in the world, solely using the simplest equipment such as their laptop.

Are you good at writing? There are many writing opportunities to be found online, starting from websites such as Upwork to looking for writing companies looking for someone to create blog content.

3. Tutoring

You can always tutor people as a freelancer, but also find a teaching position in the location you are located. Depending on your skills, you can use the knowledge to your advantage and earn some cash as you go. 

Tutoring can include everything from language classes, dancing, singing, math and even school subjects for students of all academic levels. 

Don't know how to find people to teach? Use Facebook groups and other social media platforms such as LinkedIn to make connections, create an impeccable resume and get referred by people you have worked for.

4. Street Performing

Even if street performing is not something you have done before, you can always leverage the skills you have on the side. Pick the right corner of a crowded street and earn a small fortune by dancing, playing music, promoting art and even showing off weird body parts! This will probably not make you rich, but should provide you with enough money to rent a room for the night and eat a delicious meal. 

5. Summer Camps or Resort Work

Summer camps are usually located in the most beautiful regions, so why not choose this option for your next travel destination? If you get a job in such organizations, you will be able to enjoy in a gorgeous region while keeping your savings intact.

6. Make Sales

Are you a communicative person with great sales skills? If the answer is yes, doing sales is the best job you can do abroad. Travel around regions and sell previously purchased objects or cut a deal with shops and get a commission. The options are endless!

7. Au Pair

Being an au pair is a great way to travel the world. This job has age limitations, but if you fit the criteria, it can present the best way to get around. And most importantly, you will save a fortune on accommodation, while earning plus money for other travel expenses. 

Try to find a trusted agency that will not leave all the work to you. After all, keeping an eye on children is hard and you wouldn't want to be stuck doing this without having a single day off! 

8. Tour Guide

Becoming a tour guide is one of the best investments you can make to turn travelling into cheap, yet fun experience. You can always travel with an agency or do freelance tours by gathering a casual group of people you find on the spot. Of course, you will not be able to charge randomly found people without being fined, but you can always request a donation for your service.
